The Valencia port community came together on 4 October 2025 at Sportcity (Massanassa) for the 4th Diario del Puerto Padel Tournament, a day where sport served as the common thread for networking among logistics companies, terminals and technology providers. For Prodevelop, taking part is not a sporting anecdote: it is about being an active member of the ecosystem where we add value every day through port digitalization.
Why we participated
Beyond results, our presence responds to a clear purpose: strengthen collaboration with the stakeholders who operate and make decisions in the port—port authorities, terminals, forwarders, ship agents and logistics operators. These initiatives build trust and coordination that later translate into more fluid, interoperable and sustainable projects across the Valencia port community.
A tournament designed for the logistics community
The event brought together 32 pairs from across the supply chain, split into two categories (advanced and intermediate), with a group stage followed by knock-outs. The tournament was organised by Diario del Puerto and sold out weeks in advance, a sign of the format’s strong reception. In sporting terms, Across Logistics won the advanced level and Rhenus Air & Ocean the intermediate level. The tournament was supported by several sector sponsors, including Prodevelop.
Our goal wasn’t to lift a trophy, but to share the court—and conversations—with the people who make port logistics happen in Valencia every day.
Our teams, our connection
Prodevelop fielded two pairs:
- The intermediate pair advanced from the group stage and reached the semi-finals.
- The advanced pair also made it through the groups and reached the round of 16.
These results are secondary to the real achievement: strengthening relationships and starting conversations that continue off the court in projects around digitalization, integration and operational improvement within the Valencia port community.
From the court to the platform: technology that connects the community
Our vocation is to connect all port stakeholders with high-quality data and standardised processes. The same collaborative spirit of the tournament is what we drive with solutions such as:
- Posidonia PCS (Port Community System), which orchestrates secure information exchange between public and private actors to streamline procedures, visibility and port-call control.
- Posidonia Terminal 4.0, combining IoT and TOS data to offer a unified real-time operational view with KPIs and analytics to improve efficiency in terminals.
- Sustainability initiatives that link operational efficiency with emissions reduction and responsible resource use along the logistics chain.
Thanks to Diario del Puerto and the whole community
We thank Diario del Puerto for organising and covering the tournament—you can read their report and photo gallery to relive the day—and all participating companies for the spirit of camaraderie and networking that makes the Valencia port community stronger.
Looking ahead
We will continue supporting events that strengthen cooperation among port stakeholders, because connecting people is the first step to connecting systems and optimising operations. At Prodevelop, we believe the Valencia port community gains momentum on the court—and consolidates it in shared projects.
