Ibero-America, Europe, and Africa: The future is already here!
Today, the 51st Board of Directors of AICO (Ibero-American Association of Chambers of Commerce) is taking place in Cascais, Portugal.
The event will unfold over two days, with a particular emphasis on the importance of collaboration between the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America, from both institutional and business perspectives.
Miguel Montesinos, CEO, will represent Prodevelop in the panel discussion titled “Maritime Ports: Connecting Europe, Ibero-America, and Africa”, where we will participate as experts in Port Process Optimization, alongside Gerardo Landaluce, President of the Port of Algeciras, Jorge Almeida, President of the 4Shipping Association, Hermano Rodrígues, EY Parthenon/AIP, moderated by Rafael Carmona, President of the Port Authority of Seville.
It is a genuine honour for us to be part of this panel and share the stage with the Port Authorities of Algeciras and Seville, with whom we have been working for years; but, above all, we appreciate the opportunity to underscore the importance of digitalisation and collaboration as key elements in optimizing and enhancing the port sector.
In line with this, we aim to use this forum as a platform to highlight the advantages of collaborating with Latin America. In the words of Miguel Montesinos, “It has become a fundamental area of development for us, not only due to its growth potential in the short and medium term but also because of the cultural bond that unites us, making it easier to collaborate and grow together.”
