Prodevelop is proud to announce its participation and sponsorship at Intermodal Africa 2024, taking place from 26th to 28th November at The Kairaba Beach Hotel, Banjul, Gambia. This year’s event comes at a pivotal moment, as Prodevelop has recently been awarded the implementation of the Gambia Ports Authority’s (GPA) new Port Management Information System (PMIS), Posidonia Management.
The GPA’s decision to entrust Prodevelop with this crucial project highlights their commitment to enhancing efficiency and digitalisation in port operations. The implementation of Posidonia Management will revolutionise internal operations at the Port of Banjul, optimising cargo handling, improving vessel response times, and ensuring compliance with international maritime standards. As such, Intermodal Africa 2024 being held in Gambia underscores both Prodevelop’s and GPA’s dedication to digital transformation in the maritime sector.
During the event, Prodevelop will showcase its latest digital solutions at booths 8 and 24. Christophe Joubert, International Ports Deputy COO, will also speak at Session 5 on Thursday, 28th November, from 12:30 pm to 1 pm, on the topic: “Streamlining Port Operations Through Technology: Addressing Port Security, Port Digitalisation in Improving Cargo Movements.” Sara Sánchez, PMIS Product Manager, and Laura Catalá, Port Digitalization Expert, will enjoy answering your questions.
In addition to exhibiting and speaking, Prodevelop is proud to sponsor the Conference Delegates Lunch on Thursday, 28th November, offering a great opportunity to network with key industry professionals.
