"The most efficient, powerfull and user friendly CHE operator tool"
Boosting CHE operation of your TOS through task automation.
It is a modern Graphical User Interface (GUI) created for CHE (Container Handing Equipment ) operator in their Vehicle Mounted Terminals to make their work easier and error prone, by means of automation and decision helpers. The benefits and capabilties of such solution generates more efficiency productivity and safety to terminal operation.
Improve the eficiency and productivity by eliminating the most common human mistakes and automating manual tasks.
Achieve full reliability of yard inventory.
This tool is one of the best ways to enhace the TOS of a terminal, by means of automation, that adds value not only to the operator quality of work but to the productivity of the whole terminal.
Intuitive and easy to use GUI (Graphical user Interface).
TOS integration (Navis N4 and more).
Less human interaction, letting operators to concentrate on their tasks.
Automatic job promotion.
Inventory accuracy with real time updates.
Customizable Business Rules, updatable without programming.
With this practical tool we are able to identify problems and alert the CHE operator to act accordingly. Its main features are:
Linked with a PDS
(PositionDetectionSystem) thatallowstheoperatorto havean on–the–spotpicture of thework to be carriedoutwith real time updates.
Integrated to the TOS
So that the work instructions are shown along with the section view help operator have visibility of the next action to perform.
Automatic and continuous control and check up
AVOID MISTAKES such as selecting a workinstruction to lift a container at a stackwith another container stacked on top of it, or choosing a workinstructionto drop a container “in theair” whilethebottom container has notarrived yet.
Twist-lock control function.
Thanks to the PDS Integration the location of the spreader is also monitored. This, if the spreader does not match the work instructions’s container position, the twist-lock control can be blocked. Therefore, if the operator tries to drop a container in a different section, stack or tier than the position provided in the work instruction, twist-locks will not be able to release, and a warning message will be displayed to CHE operator. If this functionally is disabled, twist-lock operations will be granted, however the position will automatically be update in the TOS, resulting on a 100% of accuracy in container inventory.
Integration with the PDS plus TT’s (Terminal Tractor) Radio Frequency Identification (RFID)
Tagreadingoffersenhanced control toolsandprocess automation for workinstructionidentificationandjobpromotion. For instance, ifthecraneoperator tries to lift a container from a wrong TT, the systemwilldetectit, notgranting twist-lockoperation, to ensurethatthe container willnot be liftedfromthattruck.
