Posidonia CHE UI is an extension to the TOS and enhances it by supporting process automation that not only improves the quality of the operator's work, but also leads to higher productivity for the entire terminal.

Position Detection System provides the operator with a real time accurate view of the yard.

Work instructions are displayed along with the section view to help the operator have visibility of the next action to be performed.

Avoid mistakes like selecting a work instruction to lift a container in a stack with another container stacked on top of it, or choosing a work instruction to drop a container “in the air” while the container below it has not yet arrived.

Thanks to PDS integration, the spreader location is also monitored. If the spreader does not match the position of the container in the work instruction, the Twist-Lock control can be blocked. If the operator attempts to place a container in a section, stack or tier other than the position provided in the work instruction, the Twist-Locks cannot be released, and a warning message will be displayed for the CHE operator.

This functionality can be disabled so as to grant Twist-Lock operations with the position automatically updated in the TOS, resulting in 100% accuracy in container inventory.

Tag reading offers enhanced control tools and process automation for the identification of work instructions and job promotion. For example, if the crane operator tries to lift a container from an incorrect TT, the system will detect it, and will not grant the Twist-Lock operation.
