Simulation

Simulación

proSAFE includes a module of graphic simulation of accidents and of estimation of the consequences, based on physical-chemical models that use meteorological information, substance information, etc. This module generates the intervention and alert areas, with the possibility of graphic representation and analysis of affected elements and installations.

MANAGEMENT FOR ACCIDENT SIMULATION

The Simulation is carried out with the aim of visualizing what installations might be affected in the case of an accident (fire, oil slick, explosion, etc). and the parameters, both meteorological and chemical, that will be involved, as well as those that the user considers appropriate for the simulation (parameters of the accident).

There will also be various separate sections:

  • Carry out a Study
  • Studies Carried out
  • Physical – Chemical Parameters

CARRY OUT A STUDY

In this section the simulation of a determined type of accident will be carried out with the possibility of seeing a physical representation, in terms of both graphics and data, of the consequences that would be caused if the accident should take place.

Different types of studies are carried out to visualize the installations that would be affected, in each case.

STUDIES CARRIED OUT

All of the studies reflected in the IEP, in which the most common dangerous substances in transit through the port authority are involved, can be subject to study and storage so that they can be consulted whenever necessary. As many variations and alternatives as possible of a given security study can be created.

PHYSICAL – CHEMICAL PARAMETERS

This system has a set of substances with physical-chemical parameters that stores all the necessary information to carry out emergency simulations. It also interfaces with meteorological stations for a more realistic result.
