proSafe centralizes information available relating to human or material resources, generating an inventory of resources available to be used during emergencies. It integrates the company’s own resources, with information on resources from nearby companies or those within the enclosure being managed, on the basis of signing pacts of mutual assistance.

proSafe facilitates communication with external organizations (Civil Defence, the Fire Service, Government Delegations, etc.) during the management of an emergency, by automating the dispatch of faxes, SMS's, mails, etc. in an automatic or assisted way.

Integrated management of the IEP resources

The concept of resources refers to any entity connected to the Organization which could be affected and/or used in case of emergency (companies, consignees, public companies, public organizations, etc). All agents involved in the IEP action groups are considered resources, although those agents that the Organization considers appropriate may also be considered resources.

In addition, there will be diverse types of specialized information:

• Means of contact
• Associated emergency resources and elements
• A basic record of Auto-protection of the concession or the concession internal emergency plan (CEP).
• Lists of basic information regarding resources
• Access to the basic records of auto-protection of Dangerous Goods.

Means of contact

For each resource the possibility of associating any means of contact that can be associated with that particular resource will be considered. For example, each resource may have several land lines, mobile lines, faxes and even pagers or VHF transmitters.

Associated emergency resources and elements

This is an inventory of the material resources that the Organization can count on in case of emergency, these resources are made up of rescue and assistance elements in the control of the emergencies themselves, such as, for example: Extinguishers, means of evacuation, personal protection devices, etc.

Basic record of the concession (CEP)

For each resource coming from a company there should be a document which reflects the concession’s internal emergency plan (CEP). This can be updated and consulted during an emergency, in order to determine each concession’s planned actions.
