Posidonia PCS is the technological platform that allows the smart and secure interchange of electronic information among all port stakeholders, with the aim of improving the competitive position of the overall Port Community.

The aim of Posidonia PCS is to optimize, manage and automate port and logistics processes through a single data submission, thus connecting in an efficient way all the transport and logistic chain, thanks to a last generation technology system and standard solutions for easing the integration of all the stakeholders as easily and fastly as possible.

Posidonia PCS comprises different modules which operate together or independently from each other:



It allows the configuration and administration of all the necessary features for a proper operation of the PCS: Access, applications, subsystems, functionalities, profiles, organizations, users management, etc.



Call Managemement

It allows the processing of call/berthing requests and authorizations among ship agents, Port Authority and National Maritime Authorities, working as a single-window for the different affected administrations, and can be used through a Web interface or messaging system. It supports standard EDIFACT messages like BERMAN, PAXLST, etc.


Port Services

Port services to vessels

It allows to manage the various services provided by the Port to the vessels: electrical supply, water supply, fuel supply, and others, and handles different viewpoints: requester, Port Authority and service provider.

It supports standard EDIFACT messages like WASDIS.



Goods Manifests

It handles the full processing flow of cargo manifests (import and export). It works as a single-window for the ship agent against the Custom and Port Authorities.

It permits all the necessary EDI cases, like consolidators, corrections, etc. and uses standard EDIFACT messages like CUSCAR, CUSRES, CUSDEC.



B.I.P. (Border Inspection Point)

It manages the inspection requests of containers in the legally authorized inspection points  in the Ports, and the reception of the performed inspections. It allows the telematic sending of container inspection request to the Port Authority from the ship agent/NVOCC or terminal.

It supports COHAOR EDIFACT messages.


Dangerous Goods

Dangerous Goods

It allows to inform the organisms responsible for the maritime traffic (Port and National Maritime Authorities) about the hazardous goods carried by a vessel entering and leaving a port, in accordance to  HAZMAT regulations. It also allows the notification to the Port Authority of the entrance/exit of a dangerous goods in/from the Port.

It supports IFTDGN EDIFCAT messages.
