The Port Authorities Forum took place in Madrid on 21st February. The forum was co-organised by Prodevelop, a Valencian company specialising in ICT for the Port sector. The event was a success with very positive feedback from the participants.

The main aim of the Forum was to present the Arista Port Management and Billing system and the way in which it complements and integrates into the economic and financial management system, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, consolidating Arista as one of the most comprehensive systems on the market.

To kick off the event, José Ferri, Prodevelop Director, gave an overview of the company's history, innovations and developments over the last few years. To present the Port Management and Billing System, we were proud to introduce Jaime Ruíz, Tenerife Port Head of Quality Control, who gave a speech on the benefits and competitive advantages for the port now the system has been up and running for over a year.

Pablo Rey, Product Manager, gave a detailed demonstration to show the component work modules in addition to the future developments currently being worked on to fulfill the demands of both Spanish and international ports.;

Punto de Gestión Empresarial, SL took over to present MS Dynamics NAV and explained the advantages of ERP which is currently operating in a large proportion of Spanish ports. Both companies have joined forces through a partnership agreement to provide the Port Authorities with a more complete service backed by nearly 20 years of experience in the industry.

Finally, Miguel Montesinos, Prodevelop Technical director, explained in depth the integration mechanisms of the two systems in addition to the advantages they represent for the Port Authorities which opt to use this combined solution.;
